Today is National Doughnut Day and I’m embracing it. Doughnuts are one of those feel-good comfort foods, (when you’re not focused on the calorie and fat content). So, give me a reason to eat doughnuts, and I’m going for it.
Although, I have many favorites, I hold a special place for Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Growing up, I can remember getting them only on special occasions. They were such a treat, and that was before the evolution of specialty flavors.
Nowadays, I’m biased to the chocolate glazed doughnuts, basic or filled. But, I want to know, which are your favorites?

Growing up, there was a bakery at the back of the grocery store I went to with my grandparents. My grandpa would buy a dozen glaze donuts as soon as we walked into the store. As I shopped up and down every isle with my grandma, I ate the glazed donuts! At checkout, all the donuts were gone! So, my grandpa would buy another dozen for the ride home. Needless to say, now all grown up, I ❤️ glazed donuts! #KrispyKreme #Allday #Everyday 😍
